Presenting Everyone Wins!

Everyone Wins! Connecting College Students and Community Partners for Maximum Impact will be presented at this year’s Americorps Symposium in Washington, DC on September 5.

Join us for an engaging workshop that explores creating a successful program for college students and community partners using Cal Poly Humboldt’s California College Corps as a dynamic case study of the Californians for All College Corps program. Discover how to foster authentic and mutually beneficial relationships between Fellows and Community Partners, including non-profits, state, and tribal organizations.

This workshop delves into the challenges of building a genuine mentorship model, moving beyond merely completing volunteer hours and setting up a framework for success. Learn innovative strategies to fast-track Fellows' understanding of the organizations they collaborate with and effectively demonstrate the value these enthusiastic young people bring to their partners.

Gain insights from Sara Hart and Emily Worm of Cal Poly Humboldt and Kendall Morris of Founders Mark about their experience co-creating a successful program. Learn from real-world experiences and practical solutions that address the needs of both Fellows and community organizations. Understand how to balance the demands on already thinly spread partners while maximizing the impact and growth of Fellows.

Whether you are an educator, community leader, or program coordinator, this workshop offers valuable lessons on creating and sustaining meaningful partnerships that benefit both students and the community. Don’t miss the opportunity to transform your approach and achieve impactful, measurable outcomes.
